MWSP and its general contractor Leonhard Weiss will go one step further by the start of BUGA in April 2023: With the symbolic groundbreaking ceremony by Mayor Prof. Dr. Diana Pretzell, MWSP Managing Director Achim Judt and representatives of the companies involved in the construction have officially started the road end expansion on SPINELLI.

The entire construction project is carried out according to the principle of lean construction - this approach ensures an efficient, smooth(er) process, because the execution processes are viewed holistically and it is about optimizing the entire construction process, not just individual sub-areas and trades. A direct example is the external development, which starts during the holiday season in order to cause as few disruptions as possible. And yet: the wishes for a happy hand that were expressed at the groundbreaking ceremony certainly can't do any harm, especially given the tense global political situation, which is also reflected in the availability of building materials.
